"Hope For Children" CRC Policy Center is running the first Hate Interrupter Team Summer School in collaboration with Youth Board of Cyprus and Youth MakerSpace Larnaca.

Hate Interrupter Teams (HITs) are directed primarily to people aged 14-19. Supported by trained youth workers, mentors and guidance practitioners, these teams will have the possibility to counteract HSBM in their communities, at school and among their peers.

The HIT summer school will have a duration of 5 days, 8:30 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. 

Nicosia: June 24th to 28th, 2019

Larnaca: July 1st to 5th, 2019

Young people will learn about:

•Human Rights and Hate Speech,

•Social marketing,

•Creative campaigning,

•Storyboard production.

Through non-formal educational activities, participants will creatively work on the development of an awareness-raising campaign.

Snacks and surprise freebies will be given to the participants.

Certificate of Participation available upon completion of the training.

Participation is free but subject to registration and availability.
